DRC supports up to 4 distinct audio devices, used for handset, headset, handfree functions, and ringer. It is therefore possible to associate to each function a different physical audio device such as a USB handset , or a bluetooth headset and reserve the internal audio device for handfree and ringer.

Some audio devices as Jabra headset , Plantronics headset or Plathosys handset supports hook switch features.

The operator can select, during a conversation as well, the desired device, and adjust the audio levels separately for each device.
Mute buttons allow to temporarily disable microphone , speaker and ringer
